Abstract

【課題】 触媒容器を、全体を断面円形として、これを分割板で流れ方向に沿うように2分割したものにおいて触媒が割れにくいようにすることを目的とする。 【解決手段】 触媒容器(21)は外形が円筒状を成し、その内部が軸線方向に延びる分割板(22)で分割され半月形の外形断面で延びる二つの室を有し、各室にそれぞれ収容される触媒(31,32)が伝熱防止のための境界部を介して、さらに扇形断面を有する複数の部分に分割されている。触媒容器の下流側に排気系制御弁(23,24)が配設されている。添加剤噴射弁(15,16)は二つの室のそれぞれに添加剤としての燃料を噴射する。触媒容器の二つの室のそれぞれにおいて、燃料粒子状物質を燃焼せしめる第1再生制御と、硫黄成分を燃焼する第2再生制御とが実行されるが、2つの室の間で温度差が生じないように両者が同時に実行される。 【選択図】 図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a catalyst not break easily in a catalyst vessel having a circular cross section in a whole and divided into two along a flow direction by a dividing plate. SOLUTION: The catalyst vessel 21 has tubular outer shape, and includes two chambers having an inside thereof divided by the dividing plate 22 extending in an axial direction and extending with crescent outer cross section. Catalysts 31, 32 stored in each chamber are divided into a plurality parts having a sector form cross section via a boundary part for preventing heat conduction. Exhaust system control valves 23, 24 are arranged in a downstream of the catalyst vessel. The additive injection valves 15, 16 inject fuel as additive to each two chamber. First regeneration control burning fuel particulate matter and second regeneration control burning sulfur composition are performed in each two chamber of the catalyst vessel, and both controls are performed simultaneously not to generate temperature difference between the two chambers.
